Dear Folks:

Hello. Here’s just a word to let you know we got back o.k. Saw Coll tonight – he’s back in one piece too. It surely was a long & tedious ride. We had to wait 4 hours for one of the boys in Milwaukee & then when we did finally go we had to keep down to 50 mph all the way. One of the boys brought back his car & he didn’t dare drive it any faster. So we just barely made it in time. We rolled up the battery street just at reveille. Had to work at Hdqts. all day Mon. Write you soon.
